Pour la première journée du tournoi ATP 250 de Kiztbuhel (Autriche, terre battue), l'Autrichien Andreas Haider-Maurer a disposé de son compatriote Gerald Melzer 6-2, 7-6 (1). Ca passe aussi pour l'Espagnol Albert Ramos, 97e mondial qui a battu en trois manches Viktor Galovic : 6-7 (5), 7-5, 6-2. Pablo Carreno Busta, 55e mondial, a été éliminé d'entrée par l'Argentin Maximo Gonzalez, 104e mondial, sur le score de 6-3, 4-6, 7-5
