Juan Martin Del Potro a refait son retour dans le circuit professionnel à Delray Beach en atteignant la demi-finale. L'Argentin a reçu une wild-card pour le tournoi d'Acapulco. Le gaucher a renoncé à cette invitation. Par contre, le 420e mondial a accepté la wild-card pour le Masters 1000 d'Indian Wells.
